Friends of Kings Park Stirling
We are a small charity that aims to promote and improve Stirling's Kings Park. We work with the local community to promote the use of the park and to improve its facilities. We meet regularly in the park to undertake various projects that we hope make the park an even better place to visit. We are always looking for new members so please read on and, if you wish, get involved!
News from the Park
Fountain Parterres:
Have you seen our new project at the Fountain Parterres by the main gate into the Park?
This year we have taken on a maintenance agreement with Stirling Council for these borders. We have planted each of the four parterres with a different theme: Sensory, Pollinator, Edible and Prairie. Information sheets explain the variety of plants in each parterre.
Many thanks to all our volunteers for their hard work and to everyone who has donated plants for the project.
Please stop to have a look the next time you are visiting the Park.

Volunteers wanted:
We are back in the park on Thursday mornings with gardening and other maintenance activities. We would welcome new volunteers with or without experience. Come and meet us in the Peace of Mind Garden from 10am for a chat over coffee.
New publicity materials:
Look out for new Friends of Kings Park signs. We are grateful to Stirling Council's Community Grants fund for assisting us with the costs.
